What is F/lowboarding

Flowboarding is my interpretation of really low f**king low softboot carving, fluidly mixed with slope tricks, slashes, smiles, and unbelieving faces on the chairlift.
It is the result of rediscovering carving after decades of freestyle riding. Preferably, but not limited to, a stance that suits both regular and switch riding.

The story of F/lowboarding

No more compromises!

When I started snowboarding competing in Alpine, SBX, and Freestyle contests

i always struggled with toe drag and wished for a board as wide as my feet even in duck stance.

Back then, carving was considered something exclusive to posi-posi hardboot riders.

But when I saw the Japanese softboot carving style, I thought to myself: Damn, it IS possible!

That was the beginning of my journey learning new techniques and searching for snowboards wide enough to match my feet.

I first found what I was looking for with Telos Snowboards, and later with the “Dragfree” versions from Never Summer.

LTB Snowboards from Czechia also builds some seriously wide boards.
